Vivian Or, an (oblivious) sapphic millennial, has spent years playing it safe on the path to adulthood, only to be unceremoniously dumped by her long-term boyfriend soon after turning thirty. Now, Vivian is forced to reinvent herself, moving back in with her mom and rekindling the friendships she left behind — in particular, Rhea, her best friend who always felt like something more.
Meanwhile her supportive and loving Asian mother is determined to explore the modern-day landscape of what it truly means to live her best middle-aged life.

Think the post-breakup reinvention and ride-or-die friendships of New Girl but with Asian women.

Ill Met by Moonlight is a queer burlesque adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream while keeping almost all of Shakespeare's original text. This performance incorporates music, gender-bending burlesque, and the bouffon style of clown to create a thoroughly unique and magical fairy world, the way Shakesqueer intended.

quarter life quarantine was inspired by a collection of anonymous “Covid-19 Confessions”. It was initially commissioned by Convergence Theatre and showcased in their digital COVID gallery. It can also be seen in the archives of Quarantine Qapsule curated by Tea Base at Myseum of Toronto.
​
It can be viewed vertically or horizontally as two people holding hands or one person washing their hands. It is truly a quarantine life crisis, to be washing your hands, and longing for another person’s touch.
